WiMAX products are microwave radios that operate from 2 to 66 GHz. They can be in a Point-to-Point (PTP), Point-to-Multipoint or Mesh configuration. The WiMAX Forum is an industry-led, non-profit corporation formed to promote and certify compatibility and interoperability of broadband wireless access products. WiMAX member companies support the industry-wide acceptance of the IEEE 802.16 WirelessMAN and ETSI HIPERMAN standards. WiMAX Forum Certified means a service provider can buy equipment from more than one company and be confident everything works together. MiCOM Labs is a member of the WiMAX Forum.
Microwave radios can operate from 95 MHz to 95 GHz for a variety of applications including Wireless Communication Services (WCS), Broadband Radio Service (BRS) and Millimeter Wave Service.
Regardless of your configurations or frequency, MiCOM Labs can test and certify your WiMAX and Microwave Radios to all regulatory standards. We can also perform accredited regulatory testing on your premises.
