Founded by President and CEO Gordon Hurst, MiCOM Labs began operation in 1999 as StratestLabs, a business unit within DMC Stratex Networks, Inc. The organization was renamed MiCOM Labs, Inc. and developed as an independent organization in 2001.
Headquartered in the San Francisco/Silicon Valley area of California, many companies as far-flung as Russia to New Zealand have come to rely on MiCOM Labs for their wireless testing such as 4RF Communications, Alien Technology, Always On Wireless and Cisco Systems. In fact, other labs have selected us as their wireless lab for their clients like Sanmina-SCI and the TÜV Rheinland Group.
With experience spanning decades in the development and adoption of standards that affect the wireless communications industry on a global basis, MiCOM Labs assists clients in researching and interpreting standards and in developing and executing critical-path plans for achieving product compliance in all world markets.
