Antenna Homologation Engineer
As a result of accelerated business growth, MiCOM Labs has an immediate opening for an Antenna Homologation Engineer. This position will help grow the antenna compliance area of the company’s business and execute antenna and wireless compliance testing projects. The Antenna Homologation Engineer’s role is client facing, and primary responsibilities include meeting with clients to determine project requirements, conducting testing of client products, writing test reports used for certification of compliance with global standards, and generally supporting client compliance activities. Prior experience with electronic design automation (EDA) tools and with 2D and 3D simulation environments is highly desirable, as is a second language supporting client interaction in the Asia Pacific and/or Latin America growth markets. Detail orientation, a sense of humor, and the ability to work with diverse personalities are essentials for the right candidate.
Required Skills:
- Masters degree, or equivalent work experience, and a bachelor of science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Superior knowledge and facility with RF measurement devices
- 5+ years compliance testing experience within wireless and/or antenna development programs
- Technical familiarity with different wireless technologies, antenna design approaches and global standards regulating wireless and antenna uses
- Excellent written and oral communications, with a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrated ability to meet project schedules and program deadlines, reflecting an understanding of the business commitments of compliance testing
- Ability to interact with peers and members of the executive staff in making decisions that promote the continued growth and success of the company
- Ability to project experience and professionalism when meeting with technical and non-technical clients
- A results-driven attitude and an ability to execute to plans
- Ability to be flexible, quick to learn, adaptable, and helpful in bringing creative new ideas to the technical team

Compliance Engineer

Your role would be client facing, and your primary responsibilities would include testing of client products, writing test reports used for product certification with global standards, and generally supporting client compliance activities. This is a senior position, and judgment, analytical reasoning, problem solving, project planning and project management skills are a must. Laboratory Test Technician
The Laboratory Test Technician position is an opportunity for an experienced EMC Technician or a smart recent graduate that is a quick learner wanting to learn the world of EMC. Applying your familiarity with use of electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies, you will be required to perform day-to-day testing of client products and peripherals to measure performance against set standards. You also will document test results and observations and generate required reporting in designated formats.The right candidate will combine technical aptitude with excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality. While most of your work will be focused on laboratory testing, accurate reporting and direct communication with clients are a must. You must be a self-starter and able simultaneously to work with supervision and as part of a dynamic team focused on delivering excellent results on-time to a range of clients whose products are used in various industries.
