Gordon Hurst
BSc, CEng, MIEE
President and CEO


With more than 15 years in wireless product development and global regulatory compliance management, President and CEO Gordon Hurst established MiCOM Labs, Inc., in 2001. He transitioned the company from the prior StratestLabs organization, where he was General Manager. Hurst had developed StratestLabs in 1999 as an independent, accredited compliance testing unit within Stratex Networks, Inc. (formerly Digital Microwave Corporation/DMC and now Harris Stratex).

In 1996, he was named DMC's Director of Regulatory Compliance, based in San Jose, California, and he was previously an Approvals Engineer for DMC in East Kilbride, Scotland. Proir to joining DMC, Hurst was a radar Development Engineer for GEC-Marconi-Avionics (formerly Ferranti) in Edinburgh, Scotland. An honors graduate in Communications and Electronics from Napier University in Edinburgh, Hurst has attained Chartered Engineer (Professional Engineer) status and is a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers.



Graeme Grieve
Quality Manager


Graeme has over twenty years experience in regulatory compliance, manufacturing and customer support/repair centre.

Graeme joined MiCOM Labs in 2002 with over twelve years experience in wireless products. He was formerly Quality Manager for Stratex Networks Inc. (formerly Digital Microwave Corporation) in San Jose California, and prior to this was Quality Manager at the Stratex EMEA Manufacturing and Customer Support Centre in Scotland.

Graeme held the position of Supplier Quality Engineer for OKI (UK) Ltd, during start up of their manufacturing operation in Cumbernauld, UK, and before that at Honeywell's High Technology Unit, Newhouse, Scotland.

Graeme is a graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bell College, Scotland, UK
