09.19.2005 MiCOM Labs achieves A2LA certifcation MiCOM Labs, Inc., the wireless and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance testing laboratory headquartered in Pleasanton, Calif., announces that it has extended the range of its RF and EMC compliance services by achieving accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). Since its founding in 1999, MiCOM Labs has been accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) and recognized for the quality and acceptance of its test data and test reports in many countries. Accreditation by A2LA enables MiCOM Labs to test clients’ products—which range from wireless networking equipment to various types of wireless and electronic devices—to more than 200 standards regulating the use of wireless technologies in different countries throughout the world. Because of the recognition of A2LA accreditation by numerous organizations, test reports from MiCOM Labs will qualify client products for FCC and CE certifications and approvals in most countries around the globe.
